Current Church Activities

John Hull is involved in applying some of his teaching through his local church, All Saints Parish Church, Kings Heath, Birmingham.

He has been Chair of the Social Justice Action Group of All Saints Church since 2004. This committee is responsible for implementation of the social justice mission of All Saints Church. The church is affiliated with Amnesty International, Church Action on Poverty, The Eco-congregation, is a Fair Trade church, supports the work of Restore (a Birmingham Churches Together initiative in support of refugees), and has recently joined Pax Christi.

Justice Mail: In 2004 All Saints Church together with the Church of the Martyrs in Leicester founded Justice Mail, a group of email activists on behalf of various social justice campaigns. Justice Mail has now spread to several other churches, has a website, a facebook page, and more than 600 members.

Justice Mail is sponsored by local churches seeking to give support to peace and justice campaigns being organised in Britain. Justice Mail members sign up to email lists managed by partner Churches. Every two weeks a request for email action is sent to each individual list member. Justice Mail works to support the campaigns of many of the major development and justice organisations in the UK.
